We are thrilled to share the news that our talented alumni and students from the Digital Media Program at Prince of Songkla University International College Hat Yai Campus have been invited to present their innovative project at the 2023 Design Research Day event. The project, titled ” Waste Town : A Game to Infuse Knowledge about Waste Management, ” will showcase the students’ creative and technical skills, as well as their commitment to addressing the global problem of waste generation.
Waste Town is a game designed to educate children and young people about the importance of waste management. The game provides hands-on learning experiences that help make waste management a habit in daily life, promoting eco-friendly practices and encouraging players to understand the impact of waste problems.
Not only does the game provide entertainment, but it also equips players with practical knowledge of waste separation and the importance of reducing waste. The team’s goal is to make a positive impact on the community by promoting sustainability and raising awareness about the environment.
We are proud of our Digital Media Program students and alumni for their hard work and dedication, and we are eager to see the results of their efforts at the 2023 Design Research Day event. The presentation will be streamed live on 9th February 2023 from 16:40 to 17:00 (UTC+7).
