THESIS 2026

CONCEPT

People have loved and been loved. The feeling of connection is like the warmth that humans crave, whether that person is aware of it or not. What comes with attachment is loss, it is the cycle of the world where there will be encounters and goodbyes. In fact, for many people, the loss of someone who means so much is difficult to accept. It can be the source of sorrow or the point where someone drowns in loneliness, it is as if the world is falling apart. However, it is normal that everything changes over time. Therefore, there is a saying: 'Time heals everything' (Mandriota, 2024). Time also plays a part in why some people move on. Even though, for others, it may not help much. Something that many people overlook when losing a loved one is 'That person always wants the best for us', the love they give us and what we give back to them is very meaningful and important. People's feelings and intentions are intangible. Sometimes, we can see these factors in media, such as movies, books, or even in this case, manga.

In the manga, we can see a lot through storytelling, also with the use of symbolism that can express deep meanings. Even in this case, some manga also include the content of encounters and farewells. Readers who are facing the problem of moving on from grief might find this book impactful for their emotions and encourage them in a certain way. Some people might only need reading or illustration to heal their feelings. With the hidden meanings and morals, the manga could help shape someone’s life and guide them to get through hard times.
