History of CMDT (creative media and digital technology)

Evolved from the former Digital Media program which was first accredited by the Office of the Higher Education Commission in 2011, the Creative Media and Digital Technologies program has been redesigned to better align with Thailand 4.0, the government’s ambitious strategy to pivot the country towards the digital economy. The program has been accredited by the Office of the Higher Education Commission and welcomed its first class of students in 2020. The module-based concept introduced in the program allows non-students who are currently in the job market to learn the digital skills required for their current roles or even new professions in the fast-paced digital revolution. Apart from providing students with practical skills in digital arts, active learning and work-integrated learning (WIL) are also introduced to ensure that students are well prepared for their careers in the digital creative industries.
