International Students

Qualifications

1. Applicants are studying or have completed Senior High Schools or equivalent from International Schools in Thailand or in other countries certified by Equivalent Qualification Announcement of the Ministry of Education or

2. Applicants who have completed any of the following degrees;

• IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) with the result of at least “C” for 5 different subjects in O-Level and 3 subjects for A Level or
• GED (General Educational Development) certified by the Ministry of Education Thailand with the result of at least 145 scores each for 4 subjects or
• IB (International Baccalaureate)

3. Applicants are required to present their portfolio related to digital media or artwork that shows applicants’ creative skills and the ability to create artistic work.

Conditions and Privileges:

1. Applicants who submit one of the original English proficiency score results as specified below will be exempted from registering for two additional English courses, as per the announcement by the Prince of Songkla University International College.

• IELTS ≥4.5 or
• TOEFL ITP (Institutional Testing Program) ≥470 or
• TOEFL (Internet-based) ≥50 or
• TOEIC ≥450 or
• GSAT ≥60% (Writing and Reading Skills) or
• PSU-TEP ≥60% or

2. Applicants who can furnish award certificate(s) from art and creativity competitions, demonstrate their achievement of an award prize at any level, and present a portfolio showcasing their creative skills in digital media or artwork, will be eligible to apply for the scholarship designated for students from direct admissions into the Creative Media and Digital Technologies (International Program) (Digital Gifted) with full coverage for years 1 to 4.

3. Price of Songkla University International College offers scholarships for students accepted through TCAS round 1, amounting to 8,000 Baht, not exceeding 30 scholarships, specifically for the first semester of the initial academic year.

Round 1/2 (Overseas Senior High School Graduates)

Qualifications

1. Applicants must be students currently studying in Mathayom 6 (Grade 12) or have already graduated from high school (or equivalent) from an overseas educational institution, or

2. Applicants who have obtained any of the following equivalency qualifications:

• IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education): At least 5 different subjects with a minimum grade of C, and A Level in at least 3 different subjects with a minimum grade of C in each, or
• GED (General Education Development): Must be officially recognized as equivalent to foreign high school qualifications by the Ministry of Education of Thailand, with passing scores in 4 subjects and a minimum of 145 points per subject, or
• IB (International Baccalaureate)

Note: Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing outstanding works related to digital media or art, such as a personal website, graphic design, photography techniques, etc.
