We are so proud to celebrate Htet Wai Yan, a student from our International College, for winning the Most Sustainable Concept Award at the GoGlobal Innovators Challenge 2026!

This challenge brought together talented students from universities around the world to collaborate and pitch innovative concepts, and Htet Wai Yan’s team stood out with a truly impactful solution.

About the winning project: AgroGrow MR

AgroGrow MR is an AI-powered mixed reality solution that helps farmers instantly identify plant diseases while reducing unnecessary pesticide use. By combining smart glasses, edge AI, and intuitive gesture controls, AgroGrow MR enables farmers to treat only infected plants, boosting productivity while helping to protect their health.

This project supports UN Sustainable Development Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth by helping farmers work more safely whilst improving agricultural productivity.
